Would you like to create more email addresses for your domain? It’s real easy to do.
Log into your control panel (http://www.domain.com/cpanel/) and click on the Mail icon which is the top left icon.
- Click on Add/Remove/Manage Accounts.
- Click on Add accounts at bottom of screen.
- Add the name or word you want to use in the relevant field.
- Give it a password. If you anticipate a lot of email change the 10 meg quota to unlimited and click on Create.
You’re not quite finished yet! Next you need to go to your email client, e.g. Outlook and set up the new email address. The username is the full email address you have just created and the incoming address is mail.yourdomain.com. Outgoing (SMTP) you can do the same or copy what you have for existing outgoing accounts through your ISP.
There, you’ve just created a new email address for your domain!

Did you know there is documentation available on your webspace to assist you with using cpanel? If you have your website hosted by ACSWebServices you would have received information about how to access cpanel and set up more email addresses, etc, however this might not have made a lot of sense to you.
To access cpanel you just enter the following URL in your browser: http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel/ and you will then be prompted to enter the username and password you gave when first setting up your hosting account. You’ll find yourself faced with lots of icons and facilities available for your use and I’ll share more on that in future posts.
To access documentation that will give you more information, click here.
